Van Damme Divorces Wife For the Second Time
Jean-Claude Van Damme is divorcing his wife Gladys Portugues for the second time after 15 years of marriage, TMZ confirms.
Jean-Claude Van Damme and Gladys Portugues were first married in 1987, but divorced in 1992 amid a cheating scandal that saw the actor have an affair with model Darcy LaPier.
Van Damme and LaPier were soon married in Thailand in 1994 and their marriage produced a son Nicholas, but the couple called it quits in 1997.
There were rumors swirling around that the actor had an affair with none other but Kylie Minogue the same year he married LaPier.
Van Damme’s first two marriages were to Maria Rodriguez from 1980 to 1984, and Cynthia Derderian from 1985 to 1986.
Portugues and Van Damme have a son Kristopher, 28, and daughter Bianca, 25.
