4. Cry Me A River – Justin Timberlake

Singer Justin Timberlake has been known for his relationships with some of the hottest A-list women on the planet, and it all began with international pop superstar Britney Spears who was his adolescent sweetheart.

When he ventured out into a solo career in 2002, Timberlake started with a banging lead single titled “Cry me A River,” a song based upon a brutal phone call with Spears.

Although he still claims that the song isn’t about her, and that the girl in the video resembles Spears by accident, producer Timbaland confirmed in 2011 what everyone knew from the start.

It might have not been a mature choice, but it was obviously the right one.
