When “Me and Mr. Jones” was released on the late Amy Winehouse’s 2006 album Back To Black, rumors started floating around that the song was in fact about rapper Nas.

Although some people claim that the tragically deceased songstress could have written a song without having any romantic endeavors with the famed rapper, many believe that the song has too much detail not to be true.

Lyrics like “Side from Sammy you’re my best black Jew … / Mr. Destiny 9 and 14 / Nobody stands in between me and my man / ‘Cause it’s Me and Mr. Jones” sound just a bit too real.
