We confess, we are fascinated with Gaga, but it seems that regardless of how many times she comes or how many songs she writes and sings on the topic of freedom in sexuality, her work is still often billed as one of an outsider by the very community she defends, promotes, and embraces. You would think her revelation to Barbara Walters in 2009 that “Poker Face” being about her attraction to women would have been enough.

Perhaps the song “Born This Way” might have done it, but apparently she gets a lot of backlash as using her bisexual status as a market ploy. Being with a man currently likely isn’t helping to tame those rumors.
