12 Celebrities You Might Not Know Are Bisexual
7) Evan Rachel Wood
After coming out as a bisexual woman in 2011, Evan Rachel Wood told The Daily Beast last year, “I felt like now was the time to no longer be silent about it,” when asked why she made the choice to exit the closet. Claiming that she wanted to wait ‘for the right time,’ Wood is now much more vocal about her sexuality, even talking to BuzzFeed about being bisexual while pregnant and happily married to Jamie Bell.
Most known for her roles in “True Blood” and “Thirteen,” Bell believes that her role in being open about being bisexual is an effort in education and getting the word out about bisexuality being as normal as any other sexual act.
She also admitted in her interview with The Daily Beast that she knows that many consider her to be a bit weird anyway, so at this time in her life, she feels ready to make a lifelong choice and owning her sexuality. Honestly, Evan’s revelation is just one more thing that cements her preference for choosing roles outside of the cookie-cutter roles most chosen by female actresses today – and yes, we love her!
