Though kids usually play the part of marriage saviors, Sherri Shepherd and Lamar Sally wedlock of nearly 3 years crumbled soon after their baby was born, but the whole thing started much earlier, it turns out.

On May 2, Lamar Sally decided to file for divorce and demanded full legal custody of their then-unborn son via surrogate.

The actor also demanded spousal support and insisted that their prenup be deemed invalid based on “fraud.”

“She offered me a settlement of $150,000, but it was not to have her name on the birth certificate,” he claimed a few months later and also denied the reports that he was a “gold digger.”
