On December 12, 2014, Nick Cannon filed the divorce papers, merely a week after Mariah was said to have been discussing terms of her property settlement with her lawyers.

Back in August Cannon hinted that their marriage wasn’t quite on the right track, to say the least.

“There is trouble in paradise,” he said, adding, “We have been living in separate houses for a few months.”

While Carey is struggling with the separation, with the information that divorce has taken a toll on her career, Nick is clearly moving on fast.

In fact, he is attempting to erase Mariah from his memory, and from his body apparently, as he recently got a new tattoo to cover up the word Mariah that was inked across his back.

The singer and the TV personality were married for six years and have three-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan.
