15) She Wasn’t Saved by the Bell: Lark Voorhies

She played Lisa Turtle, the cute object of Screech’s affection on the popular teen sit-com “Saved by the Bell.” And after that show ended, she appeared on several other shows, including “Days of Our Lives” and on “The Bold and the Beautiful.”

Then in 2012, Voorhies appeared in a Yahoo! News video that went viral because of her odd behavior. Her mother came to her defense, telling the press that Voorhies was not high in the video — as some believed — but that she had actually been diagnosed with bipolar disorder. Voorhies denied the bipolar allegation repeatedly to a number of media outlets, including People, TMZ and Entertainment Tonight. Unfortunately, her explanations and behavior actually did more to support her mother’s contentions than they did to help Voorhies look sane.

During all of her interviews, she took strange, long pauses and rambled incoherently. Her explanation to Entertainment Tonight about her problems was, “I have no stating reasons why anyone should worry about me. Clearly, I am a very strong, top-of-the-line, always riding to it personage.” Makes you think her mom is onto something, doesn’t it?
