11) The Name Says It All: Rapper C-Murder
Hmm, should anyone really be surprised that a rapper who goes by the name C-Murder might actually be involved in a murder? Probably not. In 2002, C-Murder — real name Corey Miller, shot 16-year-old Steve Thomas to death after the two got in an argument at the Platinum Club in Harvey, Louisiana. The teenager had used a fake ID to get into the club, which was supposed to have an 18-and-over age limit for women and 21-and-over for men. While in the club, he got in a fight with several people and was eventually shot by Miller.
The rapper — who is the brother to hip-hop millionaire Master P and uncle to teen sensation Romeo — was already facing attempted murder and illegal use of a weapon charge stemming from an incident that had occurred in August of 2001. In that incident, C-Murder was accused of firing a gun outside of a club after its staff refused him entry
C-Murder was sentenced to life in prison for killing Thomas, but is currently fighting the charge, claiming that he did not get a fair trial
