The perfectly lovely pop star once admitted she came into this world looking slightly different than most of the babies in the hospital that day, year, or decade.

According to Ke$ha, she had a quarter-inch long vestigial tail when she was born.

“I had a tail when I was born. It was a tiny tail, about a quarter of an inch, then they chopped it off and stole my tail. That was when I was little. I’m really sad about that story,” joked the pop star.

For those of you who don’t know this, all human embryos have a tail that measures about a sixth of the size of the embryo itself, however, it is absorbed as the fetus grows. In some rare cases, a child is born with the remnants of the tail.

Ke$ha definitely has a nice tail to tell her grandkids some day.
