Though it took some time to go public, this relationship began in 2009.

The couple got together after a buddy of Toth’s spent an evening drunkenly hitting on Witherspoon.

Toth came to the rescue and apologized for his pal’s rudeness.

In February of 2010, Toth and Witherspoon decided to take it to the presses and Witherspoon announced her beau formally to the press.

Toth works as a professional talent agent and has been head of the motion picture talent division at Creative Artists Agency since 2010; the agency which represents Witherspoon. We can kind of understand the conflict of interest!

These two announced their engagement in December of 2010 and were married on March 26, 2011. Their private LA ceremony took place at Libbey Ranch in Ojai California, Witherspoon’s then-country estate.

On September 27th, 2012, two became three when their son Tennessee James Toth was born.
