This couple met while working at Chicago’s Second City Improvisational Theatre in 1994.

They dated for seven years before Richmond got down on one knee in a simple proposal.

He later lamented this saying that if he had known how many people would ask him just how he proposed to Fey, he would have come up with something that had a bit more theatric pizzazz.

They tied the knot in 2001 in a Greek Orthodox ceremony which was closely followed by a big old party. At their wedding reception, these lovebirds boogied the night away to the Sid Miller Dance Band.

Richmond, a composer, is infamously shorter than his wife. He’s a dwarfish five feet tall while Fey stands at a statuesque-seeming 5’4”.

The couple has one daughter: Alice Zenobia Richmond.
