You probably didn’t even know Helen and Hank were ever married.
This is perhaps because this strange and unlikely couple lasted only a year and nobody paid any attention to their wedding.
Their low profile relationship began back in 1994, dated for five years and then married in a traditional Jewish ceremony at the couple’s home in Southern California on July 17, 1999.
The two appeared together in “Mad About You” and “Dumbbell Indemnity,” an episode of “The Simpsons,” however, things went south pretty soon. After only a year of marriage, Azaria moved out of the couple’s home, and after a six-month separation, Hunt filed for divorce, citing “irreconcilable differences.”
The divorce was finalized on December 18, 2000.
