The celebrated actor and musician Bacon has had a long and successful marriage to fellow actress Kyra Sedgwick since 1988.

The duo met on the set of the PBS version of the play Lemon Sky and Bacon credits meeting Kyra as one of the greatest moments of his life saying that she helped to bring him out a dark place in his life and career.

They have gone on to enjoy successful film and television roles separately and have currently starred in 4 different films together as of 2014.
