5) Drugs can ruin your financial future

We all know that being addicted to drugs can destroy your life, and when Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban discussed marriage, the actress made the former coke-head and country music star sign a firm prenup that would cost him dearly if he begins using again.

According to the prenup document, if the singer starts to abuse drugs or alcohol during the marriage, Kidman, who is worth an estimated $150 million, can bail without paying Urban a penny. On top of that, the singer will be forced to pay Kidman, $600,000 for each year of marriage. Talk about tough love.

On the other hand, if he’s able to stay drug free and they later divorce, he’ll be entitled to $640,000 for every year that they stay married. They also will receive join custody of any children between them.

With this pre-nup, Nicole proved she’s wasn’t just listening to her heart – though she told Rolling Stone that Keith has been her greatest love, and compared the earlier years with Tom Cruise to being more like she was being a child – she still acknowledged his possibility Keith relapsing.
