Lupita Nyong’o – From Jared Leto to Rapper K’Naan?

Looks like the Oscars are not the only place where actress Lupita Nyong’o proves to be a winner. She also seems to be winning at the game of love. Not only has the actress been rumored to be connected to 12 Years a Slave costar Michael Fassbender and mega super rock star and actor Jared Leto but most recently she has been seen getting snuggly with Somali rapper K’Naan.

Following Nyong’o’s beautiful Oscar win for her performance in “12 Years a Slave” K’Naan was seen to be offering his congratulations in more physical ways. The PDAs continued the next morning when Lupita Nyong’o made an appearance on Live to discuss to her Oscar win. K’naan escorted her to the Live set and was waiting for her afterward. He was even willing to take that heavy Oscar off her hands for few minutes as he was photographed holding the coveted prize. Also noted he was photographed several times holding Lupita as well. The two left together and we can only imagine they continued their cuddle fest.

Both celebrities have found success, and possibly now love, in the United States. Rapper K’Naan has had a rocky past which began in the war torn country of Somalia. K’nann fled Somalia when he was just thirteen years old, seek refuge in Canada. Adjusting to his new environment with little support drove him into gang life. Fortunately for K’naan his choices during that period of his life did not have any permanent negative consequences. He soon found an outlet in his music. Now the Somalia born rapper enjoys the benefits of his hard work and new found freedom. His song, “Wavin’ Flag” received critical acclaim which has established his career not only as a rapper but also as a concerned citizen of the world. K’nann has associated himself with many world relief efforts including hunger efforts.
