Say It Isn’t So!! Is Gwyneth Paltrow Hitting the Road with Coldplay?!

Rumors have been swirling that in the wake of the couples shocking announcement that they were “consciously uncoupling” (that’s a divorce, for you laypeople out there), Paltrow would be bring the couple’s children Apple, 9, and Moses, 8, along for the ride as their daddy’s band hits the road to support their newest release, “Ghost Stories,” which hits stores May 19^th.

Turns out that the rumor was unsubstantiated, as a spokeperson for the band has stated that there aren’t even any tour dates announced, let alone travel plans in place. Probably a good move, as fans who have been following this long-time couple’s drama-filled split know that despite their reported commitment to an amicable divorce, there is way too much baggage here to fit on a couple tour buses.

The Paltrow/Martin union has been the subject of almost constant accusations of cheating, divorce and discord since the Oscar-winning actress and Grammy-winning pop star first hooked up almost a decade ago. If sources close to the couple are be to believed, there were almost constant rows over his diet (she once only ate macrobiotic food and is said to keep the kids away from gluten and sugary treats), where to live (she loves LA and English-born Martin is happier in London), and other lifestyle-related issues. Amidst a near daily deluge of tabloid articles accusing one or the other of cheating, some people in the know have even said that the forward-thinking exes even had an open marriage long before they announced their impending split.

Whatever the reality during the marriage, there’s only one place we can be sure the willowy Pepper Potts and her sweet-singing hubby are headed now, and that’s divorce court. May their collection of overpriced T-shirts and Laboutins be consciously uncoupled with the same grace as their actual union.
