Great news for all Drew Barrymore fans! Veteran actress Barrymore has become a mom for the second time. On Tuesday, April 22nd, the bubbly blonde gave birth to her second child, a daughter she gave the boyishly cute name of “Frankie.” Young Frankie’s father is Barrymore’s husband, an art consultant by the name of Will Kopelman. Barrymore and Kopelman have been married since June of 2012. They started dating around the beginning of 2011. Kopelman’s father — and Frankie’s grandfather — is Arie Kopelman, who used to be the chairman of internationally famous French luxury brand Chanel.

Frankie follows big sister Olive, who Barrymore gave birth to in the fall of 2012. Olive is currently almost 2 years old. Frankie and Olive share the same middle name, Barrymore, courtesy of their mother.

News of Barrymore’s second pregnancy broke in November of 2013, not long after Olive’s first birthday. Although Barrymore tried to keep her first pregnancy as private and low-key as possible, she had a hard time with it. Barrymore noted that she felt “stalked” throughout the duration of her first pregnancy. When she made the announcement regarding her second pregnancy, she noted that she’d be much more candid than she was the first time. Barrymore confessed to feeling ecstatic upon hearing the news of her second pregnancy. She referred to it as being “incredible” and a “miracle.”

Prior to confirming her second pregnancy, Barrymore stopped by the Tonight Show with Jay Leno. During the September appearance, she expressed her desire to immediately have another child. She indicated that she’d be happy becoming pregnant again “right away.”

Neither Barrymore nor Kopelman have offered information regarding their choice in the name Frankie, but the influence behind little Olive’s name is known. At 3 months pregnant, Barrymore read a book that compared her unborn baby’s size to that of the dark oval fruit. That interesting fact compelled her to name the youngster after the yummy Mediterranean staple.
