Newly Single Adriana Lima WOWS at Cannes Party

Most people, after a world altering breakup, tend to hide away from the world for awhile and eat tub after tub of ice cream. Adriana Lima, easy enough to say, is not “most people”. The 32 year old super model was quick to get back into the public eye after her divorce earlier this month from her husband of five years, Marko Jaric. The former NBA player and supermodel went their separate ways in what appeared to be a fairly tame split, for Hollywood’s standards. Lima didn’t stay down long, and the dress she wore to Cannes proves that she shines as bright as ever.
Adriana showed up to the Chopard portion of the Cannes red carpet wearing a long white dress with jewels around her neck. She looked every inch the part of a blushing bride, only now she didn’t have a man at her side. She was all jokes, smiles, and laughs as she showed off her elegant wardrobe. Lima blew kisses to the various cameras in the crowd and tried to remain as upbeat as possible, perhaps to hide how hard the divorce is truly hitting her.
The theme for the night at the Chopard carpet was “wedding dresses” and, accompanied by a slew of other world famous models, Lima and co blew the lens off of many cameras with how great they looked. Notable models in attendance include Suki Waterhouse, Liu Wen, Alessandra Ambrosio, and Arlenis Sosa. Among the models were blue frocked dresses, floor length white spectacles, and many more conservative options.
Adriana and Marko have remained relatively quiet since the announcement of their split earlier this month. The two were last seen together at a Yacht party in Miami awhile back and have since remained off of each other’s radar.
