Mariah Carey Remains Silent On The Rumors About Her Divorce

For a while now there have been lots of speculations on whether Mariah and her husband Nick Cannon are still in love and some rumors even implied the couple is no longer together. However, the famous singer hasn’t made any comments yet and both of them have remained silent on the matter.

Laying low means trouble?

The two are well known for their numerous public outbursts of love, especially via their profiles on various social networks, but over the past few months Mariah and Nick have been conspicuously inconspicuous online.

This absence has caused media to assume and write about the trouble in their paradise in the first place.

Nick apparently hasn’t had a single tweet about his wife since November last year, so almost a year now.

On the other hand, Mariah’s last post was a family portrait to celebrate Father’s Day back in June.

Living apart

Mariah and Nick had a quick and passionate romance in 2008 and soon after the two got married. They have two children together, three-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan, but numerous reports from reliable sources claim they are not living together anymore.

“They have been living apart for a while. This is not all of a sudden. There have been issues between them for a while. They are not getting along. She wants to end it and it has been in the works for month, which is why her house in the Bahamas and the house in Bel Air are on the market,” an insider stated for E!News.

Another source revealed that the singer has had several meeting with divorce lawyers so far and that the things are not looking good.

“Mariah has had several closed door meetings with divorce lawyers. But Nick’s being more passive. He’s less inclined to pull the trigger, perhaps because of the kids… Nick’s sensible and realizes that the twins would have a more stable existence if Mariah has full custody. But he wants generous visitation rights.”
