Famous Canadian rocker, Neil Young, and American actress, Daryl Hannah, were seen cuddling up and kissing after a lunch date in Westlake, California.

Neil cheated on Pegi?

This new development in rocker’s love life has caused a bit of a stir, especially since it was only last month that Neil announced he was ending his 36-year-long marriage with his wife Pegi.

It seems that Neil’s grieving period was quite short, or in fact, was actually nonexistent.

Namely, it appears that Neil’s new romance isn’t all that new after all, and that Neil and Daryl started seeing each other before the rocker officially ended his marriage with Pegi.

An anonymous source has recently revealed to People magazine that Neil and Daryl have been actually “dating for months,” adding that the marriage between Neil and Pegi might have been troubled due to Daryl.

“They’ve taken no effort to even hide it,” the source stated.

“He recorded a new album a few weeks ago and she was on Skype the entire time, giving him feedback on every take. He even told people in the studio she was his girlfriend. The fans have known about this for months,” the insider added.

Newfound muse

Interestingly enough, Pegi was not only the love of his life and Neil’s frequent musical collaborator, she was also the inspiration for many of his famous love songs, including Unknown Legend and Once An Angel.

Funny how an artist can so easily forget about one muse and find another one.
