Avril Lavigne & Chad Kroeger To Divorce After Only A Year Of Marriage

Canadian rockstar lovebirds, Chad Kroeger and Avril Lavigne are apparently set to divorce after merely a year of marital life.

A source has revealed for Us Weekly saying: “It’s over. He has been going around L.A. telling people that they are divorcing.”

Time apart

Due to their music careers, the couple has been known to spend a lot of time separated and that was pretty much common for the two, but now it seems this is a huge obstacle for their happy marriage.

Even though 29-year-old Avril posted a photo of her huge diamond ring (a one-year anniversary present her husband gave her) about a month ago, it appears that things are going south pretty fast, since Avril deleted the picture on Wednesday.

Too soon?

When it comes to who is the initiator of this unexpected turn of events, our guess is Avril, because Chad always said how much he loves her and that Avril was the one.

“It felt like the stars had aligned. It felt like fate was intervening and I was being given this wake-up call: don’t let this one get away. And I think she felt the same way and that’s why I proposed in such a short time span – because we wanted to start our lives together,” said Chad about his swift proposal.

Just a quick reminder, Chad proposed to Avril only a month after they started dating.

Hmm… Maybe the two lovebirds did rush into the whole thing. However, we certainly hope they will sort things out in the end.
