We are all well aware of the fact that all those celebrities from magazine covers undergo hours of makeup and have, not one, but several people taking care of their style and wardrobe, before they dazzle with unrealistic beauty on the front pages or red carpet photo shoots. (Not to mention the power of Photoshop and what can be done with it).

Still, people are prone to going green with envy while looking at those pictures thinking ‘I will never get to look like that,’ forgetting that those perfect celebrities are indeed only human and what we see on the magazine covers are actually manipulated products, impeccable holograms if you will, of people who are just as flawed as anybody else.

The sad thing is that people see these imperfections as something negative, something almost stigmata-like, and forget that having and appreciating these unique little flaws is what makes us stand out from the crowd.

Here is the list of some famous people who are not ashamed of their little deformities and who let their imperfections define them, as much as their virtues do.

1. David Bowie

One of the greatest musicians who ever lived, David Bowie, generally looks like something not from this world, and his condition called Heterochromia definitely helps him achieve this.

However, Heterochromia is actually just a fancy word for the not so rare condition, usually known as different-colored eyes.

The condition comes in several forms: eyes that are entirely different in color (like in Bowie’s case), eyes that are part one color and part another, or eyes that are a different color around the pupil than at the outer edges. Awesome.

If we take a look at the world of the famous, a surprising number of celebrity people seem to have been blessed with this deformity. Simon Pegg, Mila Kunis and Kiefer Sutherland are just some of them.
