Scarlett Johansson & Romain Dauriac – First Public Appearance Since Wedding

The “Lucy” star, Scarlett Johansson and her brand new husband, Romain Dauriac, have made their first high-profile public appearance after the surprising news surfaced that they had married in a secret, low profile ceremony.

The two are said to have tied the knot back in October, just after the actress gave birth to their first child, Rose.

Gotham Independent Film Awards

Scarlett and Romain took some time off from their newfound roles of being parents in order to attend the IFP’s 24th Gotham Independent Film Awards in New York several days ago.

The happy couple dazzled absolutely everyone as they walked up the red carpet.

Scarlett flashed her new diamond wedding ring looking sharp in her black mini-dress, while her French journalist husband pulled off a black suit and crisp white shirt.

Glowing and Smiling

Scarlett made sure Romain stayed close by her side through the whole event, introducing him for the first time as my husband to fellow guests.

“They sat next to each other the whole night,” an insider revealed for People. “He also had his arm around her back. They both had rings on the ring finger. She was glowing and smiling a lot. They looked very happy.”

Scarlett did lose her Best Actress award to Julianne Moore, but it appears that she really didn’t care much about that for she looked genuinely happy during the whole evening. We blame Romain.
