George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin Keep Renovating Their U.K. Love Nest
After it was reported in February that George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin were installing a panic room to their Berkshire mansion, these two love birds just keep renovating their already luxurious home.
“The need is because Amal has a high-profile client base involved in extremely controversial cases, so living in that house, which is quite exposed on the island, you would need to be careful,” a source said of the previous upgrade.
The need for a swimming pool and pool house, a grand terrace and a private movie theatre is pretty self-explanatory, which is what the happy couple’s home improvements consist of this time.
Their 9,000 square-foot 17th-century Georgian mansion has nine bedrooms and eight bathrooms, including a library, gym, spa, steam room, and wine cellar. The price tag, you wonder? Nearly $15 million.
Clooney and Alamuddin relocated for the time being while their house is being “restored to its former glory”, a source revealed to Us Weekly.
