Gwen Stefani Files For Divorce From Gavin Rossdale

After Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin, Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck, another high-profile, Hollywood-favorite power couple is divorcing.

In a joint statement issued by their reps, Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale broke the news of their split to the world by saying:

“While the two of us have come to the mutual decision that we will no longer be partners in marriage, we remain partners in parenthood and are committed to jointly raising our three sons in a happy and healthy environment. To that end, we respectfully request privacy from the media during this time.”

The 45-year-old Stefani, who filed for divorce from her husband of 13 years, cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the dissolution of their marriage.

Stefani and Rossdale have three children together, Kingston, nine, Zuma, six, and Apollo, one, and they are both seeking joint custody of the boys.

The music pair doesn’t have a prenup and under California laws should split their property in half even though the No Doubt front woman is worth more than double her husband’s fortune.
