Jaimie Alexander And Peter Facinelli Break Off Their Engagement

Today is not a particularly happy day in the world of celebrity couples, as we have yet another duo that decided to call off their ‘tying the knot’ process.

In this instance it’s Peter Facinelli and Jaimie Alexander in the center of such a sad moment.

As People reports, the couple which met on the set of Showtime’s “Nurse Jackie” decided it would be better to call off their engagement a year after one of the most romantic celebrity proposals, which took place on the top of the Empire State Building.

The reps of both Alexander and Facinelli told the magazine: “Due to conflicting family and work commitments on opposite coasts, and after much consideration, Peter and Jaimie have chosen to part ways amicably and remain good friends.”

This news is really a shocker, especially considering the 42-year-old “Twilight” star and his prettier half showed up at the 2016 Golden Globe Awards just last month, looking more like a happy couple than ever.
