Justin Timberlake Finally Reveals Why He Left NSync

It appears that Justin Timberlake wasn’t really NSync with other performers in his boy band. He recently opened up about why he left NSync in the early 2000s, even though they were still extremely successful, and the reason was indeed legit – “I cared more about the music than some of the other people in the group.”

In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the singer finally spilled the beans about the whole shebang:

“I was growing out of it. I felt like I cared more about the music than some of the other people in the group. And I felt like I had other music I wanted to make and that I needed to follow my heart.”

Snowball Fight Becoming An Avalanche

One of the biggest boy bands in the history of music (if not the biggest), never actually announced that they were falling apart and are about to break up. Instead, they went on “hiatus” in 2002 never to reunite again.

“We were on a stadium tour, and I just felt like the whole thing was too big,” said Justin. “It started out as a fun snowball fight that was becoming an avalanche.”

Right after the break up, he wrote and recorded his debut album called “Justified”, while his first solo performance took place the same year at the 2002 MTV Video Music Awards, and the rest was history.

Justin Talked About His Son And His Possible Career

The also star answered a couple of questions about his 22-month-old son, Silas, mainly about what he thinks about him following in his footsteps.

Apparently Timberlake is not really sure if he wants his son to enter showbiz at all.

“I haven’t been able to answer that question in my mind,” Justin said. “If he wanted it bad enough, I suppose I could teach him a lot about what not to do.”

Considering the talents he will surely inherit from his parents, it would indeed be a shame if Silas went the other way.
