Alison Brie And Dave Franco Are Married!

Sorry guys, Alison Brie is now officially taken. And sorry girls, Dave Franco is no longer available… Yes, Alison Brie and Dave Franco are now officially married, as one of the reps for the actress confirmed to Us Weekly on March 13th.

The newlyweds first met at Mardi Gras in New Orleans and they dated for three years before Franco popped the question back in August 2015. The actor flashed an Irene Neuwirth-designed rose-gold ring set with rose-cut and pave diamonds, and the rest was history.

Not The Marrying Kind?

Back in 2012, Brie told Elle Canada that she wasn’t really sure if she ever wants to get married.

“I don’t even know if I want to get married. I’ve never been the girl who’s planning my dream wedding — I was always practicing my speech for the Oscars. That was my dream, which is kind of sad but kind of great,” said Brie.
The actress echoed her statement even after Franco proposed.

“I’m not very bridal, instinctually,” she said an interview with Yahoo! Style a few months AFTER James Franco’s brother popped the question.

“Marriage never really interested me, I guess because I was very focused on my work. I wasn’t sure if I really saw the point to it. I bought a dress on Net-a-Porter, and I’m like, ‘Maybe I’ll wear that’.”

It appears that Dave Franco managed to change her mind about the holy matrimony after all.
