Adam Levine Shows Off Platinum Blonde Hair

People’s Sexiest Man Alive and lead singer of the super successful rock band Maroon 5, Adam Levine shocked fans everywhere when he debuted a brand new, platinum blond head of hair on Twitter this past Saturday. In the snap Adam is seen posing with an icy stare than his newly blond hair next to his fiancée Behati Prinsloo. He captioned the picture with a snarky caption reading “Apocalypse prep course complete.” The new hairdo has left the fandom for “The Voice” judge torn with many fans expressing their distaste for the dramatic new ‘do while others seem to be loving the new, daring style.

Levine had been hinting about a hairstyle change a few days prior to the Twitter post, this came after the rocker shaved the sides of his hair back in April after going for an edgier look for the season 6 premier of ‘The Voice.” Levine now joins a very special club of short, platinum blond hairstyles rocked by fellow artists like Pink and Miley Cyrus. Adam and fiancée Behati both seem to be happy with the new change. The social media friendly couple both often update fans on their personal lives via Twitter and Instagram so it makes sense that Levine would share this big change via Twitter.

This isn’t the first time the sexy singer’s hair and fashion choices have caused a stir amongst his fans but it may be the first time that some fans have reacted negatively to a change. Levine seems to be enjoying the bit of controversy the new hairdo has stirred up as Sunday he stated, “I hope people understand that when they say my hair looks creepy I take that as the highest compliment.” We can definitely see from the picture he tweeted on Saturday that fiancée Behati approves of the new look and we hope to see more from this social media friendly couple coming up again soon.
