Angelina Jolie On Marriage And Raising Children – ‘It Is Hard Work’
Though half the planet wants to be her, the other half wants to be with her, and she seems to have the lifestyle that many admire, Angelina Jolie is just as vulnerable a human being like anyone else.
In a recent interview for Australian Women’s Weekly the Hollywood A-lister has opened up about her newfound married life and how raising children isn’t a walk in the park for her as some might think.
Hard Work
Marriage and children are hard work for her just as they are for anyone else, and the world’s most famous couple has to ‘work really hard’ in order to keep their family happy.
“We work really hard at nurturing our family to make sure that everybody is alright and everyone stays connected. Maintaining a marriage and raising kids is hard work. You have to really make sure that your work doesn’t get in the way. That you don’t do something that is going to put too much strain on your family,” said Angelina.
Two Sides of the same Coin
“They’re six of the funniest people we have ever met in our lives. We love being home and we love being around them because they are just so entertaining.”
This interview for the Australian magazine came as part of her promotional tour for her new movie “Unbroken.” The film focuses on the World War II hero Louis Zamperini, and it was directed by the famous star.
The Unbroken drama should hit big screens on Christmas Day.
