Anna Kournikova Hasn’t Met Julio Iglesisas Despite Dating Enrique for 12 Years

Julio Iglesias is a Spanish legend, having sold more than 300 million records nationwide which makes him the best selling Latin musical artist in history.
Julio’s son, Enrique, a Latin heartthrob best known for songs like “Hero” and “Bailamos” is dating former Russian tennis hottie Anna Kournikova. Yes, that Anna Kournikova, who never won a Women’s Tennis Association title but is still one of the most iconic females to play the game because of some other, shall we say, “assets?” (In fact, it might have been a blessing in disguise when Kournikova was forced to retire at the age of 21 due to injuries, so – you know – she could focus on modeling these aforementioned “assets.”)
But anyway, back to the story at hand. Enrique Iglesias has been dating Kournikova for the past 12 years, following the Russian starlet’s alleged marriage to former NHL hockey great – and fellow countryman – Sergei Fedorov. And Enrique’s famous father, Julio, has never met his long-time girlfriend.

Seems a little strange, doesn’t it? Perhaps a sign of family issues among the Iglesias? Or a sign of daddy not approving of the woman sonny boy is with?
No, that isn’t the case. Julio Iglesias blames their lack of introduction on his son’s busy schedule, as he’s constantly on the road touring. Not to mention the fact that Julio himself has vowed to never retire from the music business. So arranging a formal “meet my dad” date has been understandably difficult. Throw in the fact that Enrique’s mother and siblings have meet Anna and, while odd, it makes Julio’s non-involvement a bit more understandable. What’s more is there seems to be no hard feelings about it.
OK, so we get that Enrique and Julio are both busy, but can’t Julio fly out to the $20 million home that Enrique and Anna have in the Miami area for a weekend introduction? While Anna is hot in pictures, we’re certain that even photographs don’t quite do her beauty justice.
