Similar to the decor of their engagement party for their Labor Day nuptials, Ashlee and Evan are planning a very eclectic Bohemian theme. The celebration will be held on the 31st of August, at Diana Ross estate in Greenwich. The couple will walk down the aisle during the evening, with white lanterns hanging from tree branches, outlining the walk way to the altar.

Contrary to popular tradition, Ashlee has decided that bridesmaids won’t be wearing typical matching dresses.

Our source states that Diana Ross has been very hands-on with the wedding plans, especially since this will be her baby boy’s first wedding.

Even though the duo plans a huge ceremony, Ross admitted that all of that doesn’t really matter and he just wants to marry his ladylove.

“Honestly, we could go and get married right now, wherever. We just want to be married. We’re in love. This is the most incredible time I could ever think of in my life and I’m young, but the same time, I’ve lived a different life than most and I can’t think of a happier moment,” said Evan.

Ross also admitted he knew Ashlee was the one right from the start and that he would have popped the question much earlier. “I was giving it time only because I wanted to give it time, but I would have asked her a month after I was with her,” he said.

He didn’t wait for long, though. Ross asked for Ashlee’s hand in marriage only 6 months after they started dating. When it is meant to be, it’s meant to be. We wish them all the best.
