Billy Joel Welcomes New Bundle Of Joy

Billy Joel and his forth wife Alexis Roderick have welcomed their first child together on Wednesday in New York City, various sources have confirmed.

This is the first bundle of joy for the happy couple, who have been together since 2009 and who made it official on July 4th this year in a surprise wedding ceremony – their guests thought they were attending a 4th of July barbecue at the singer’s estate.

Della Rose Joel is Joel’s second child. The 66-year-old singer has a daughter Alexa Ray Joel, 29, from his marriage to Christie Brinkley. Joel’s fans are hoping Della Rose will be Joel’s new muse and inspire hits like Alexa has over the years, including “Downeaster Alexa” and “Goodnight, My Angel”.

The baby girl came just over a month after the couple tied the knot at their Center Island estate, with New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, a long-time friend, officiating the wedding.
