Brad Pitt – ‘Marriage Is Not Just A Title’

Only a month after the Hollywood heartthrob officially tied the knot with his long-term partner, also a Hollywood A-lister, Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt has opened up on marriage in general.
Not A Title
In a candid interview for GQ magazine, the actor revealed his views on the Holy Matrimony, and said this institution is not simply a piece of paper or a title, it is so much more.
“I wouldn’t say marriage is just a title. There’s more to it than that,” honest was Brad.
When asked about the very ceremony and the low profile wedding the famous couple arranged a few weeks ago, Brad said it was fun and all about the family.
“It was important to us that the day was relaxed and full of laughter. It was such a special day to share with our children and a very happy time for our family.”
Family Comes First
The Fight Club star also talked about his good friend George Clooney, as well as about his future plans.
“George is extremely accessible. He’s one of our best representatives… He’s a joy to be around… I’m a bit of a loner you know? I’m more quiet by nature,” the star admitted.
“I’ve been slowing down for a while now. And slowly transitioning to other things. And, truthfully, I do want to spend more time with my kids before they’re grown up and gone. I’ve always believed happiness is overrated, you know? It’s those difficult times that inform the next wonderful time, and it’s a series of trade-offs, of events, of wins and losses.”
