Rivaling Jay-Z and Beyonce as one of the most recognizable and charitable couples, Brad and Angelina are constantly on the front lines of charitable fight, seemingly more important to them at times then their own careers. This A-list power couple hasn’t been shy about their contributions of money and time around the world to countless humanitarian causes, ranging between rebuilding New Orleans after Katrina to numerous UN missions in various war torn or damaged countries.

Angelina Jolie is regularly touring the world and helping people in 3rd world countries in need of support and attention, while her husband Brad Pitt gives large amounts of money to UNICEF, One Campaign and UNHCR. They both donate one third of their salaries per year to charities around the world and have done other notable donations whenever disaster strikes, like giving five hundred thousand dollars to the people of Joplin, Missouri, whose town was wiped out by a tornado.

According to their tax returns, the couple donates around five million dollars to charity every single year.
