Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones have been charitable ambassadors for many years now, but more on the political front. They hosted the Nobel Peace Prize concert in Oslo, Norway and are on the Ploughshares Fund Board of Directors. They also support a long list of charities ranging from the Elton John AIDS Foundation to Stand Up to Cancer.

Michael Douglas has chaired a number of different charity organizations including the Nuclear Age Peace Foundation, making sure they not only have funding but also are doing the right things and directing their interests and charitable donations to the right sources.

Zeta Jones has been heavily involved with charities that focus on the welfare of children all over the world. Both have donated to numerous charities but their contributions usually stay anonymous, though it has been said their donations are quite generous.
