Charlize Theron and Sean Penn Headed For Splitsville

Charlize Theron and Sean Penn have broken off their engagement after a year and a half of being inseparable. A source has confirmed to People magazine that the pair are no longer together, while their reps have yet to comment. Rumour has it that it was Theron who broke off their engagement.

Theron and Penn were last seen together at the Cannes Film Festival in May. According to multiple sources, the Oscar winners have been living under separate roofs for the last few weeks.

Theron and her son Jackson live in their home in Hollywood, while Penn is staying in his Malibu house, which he intended to sell but later changed his mind.

The 39-year-old actress and her 54-year-old ex beau started dating in late 2013 after decades of being friends.

“Putting aside that he’s my partner, he’s the love of my life; for the first time, I felt that my work was really bleeding into my life, and that made it hard,” Theron said of Penn just last month.

It’s unclear at this point what led to their breakup, so we are patiently waiting for a response form either one of their reps on the matter.
