David Bowie’s Ex Wife Angie Talks Relationship with Estranged Son

David Bowie’s ex wife, Angie Bowie, has revealed that she hasn’t spoken to her and David’s son, Duncan Jones, a.k.a. Zowie Bowie, for 28 years!

In an interview with Australia’s New Idea magazine, Angie, who is a contestant on the Celebrity Big Brother, explained that after her divorce from Bowie, she had to do all in her power to help the musician get back on his feet and kick his cocaine addiction.

Angie said: “I knew I had to save David – and by giving him our son, he had a reason to live.”

Wendy Leigh, author of David Bowie’s biography, confirmed that after David was awarded custody of Zowie he “kicked his drug habit”.

“It’s been a long time”, Angie said of her relationship with Duncan.

“It’s enough now. He decided he didn’t want to see me anymore. He decided, you know.”

“He decided he didn’t want to see me, and that was fine. Not a problem.”
