Denise Richards Opens Up About Charlie Sheen Amid HIV Revelation

The troubled actor is expected to make the official announcement on Tuesday in a live sit-down interview with Matt Lauer.
His friends have been tweeting messages of support, while Denise Richards talked about her ex-husband in an interview with US Weekly, saying Sheen was a different person when they got married.
“Charlie, when I married him, he wasn’t a bad boy. He was sober for almost four years. He was a very different person. His lifestyle was very, very different. He was a former bad boy, I guess,” said Richards.
It has also been confirmed that Sheen’s second wife has known for years he’s HIV positive. A source close to the 44-year-old actress says she and her children, Sam, 11, and Lola, 10 are not infected with the virus as Sheen contracted it about four years ago, long after their 2006 divorce.
The 50-year-old troubled actor is father to daughter Cassandra, 30, with ex-girlfriend Paula Profit, and twin boys Bob and Max, 6, with his third ex-wife Brooke Mueller.
