Evan Rachel Wood & Jamie Bell Announce Divorce

Two years into their marriage and it appears that Jaime Bell and Evan Rachel Wood just can’t handle matrimony. The young and cute couple appear to be trending toward divorce despite the young son they share together. A representative for Bell and Rachel Wood says that they have “decided to separate” but still “love and respect one another”. The representative goes on to say that the two celebrities are committed to co-parenting their son and will “remain close friends” as they journey through life together, but separate.

This news comes as a bit of a shock as the couple has never shown serious signs of cracking! In November of 2013, Jaime and Rachel Wood seemed head over heels in love with their child and seemed optimistic about their future together as a family. Evan frequently took time to speak about how in love with her child she is and how much she loves Jaime.

It seems that many young couples can’t stay together in Hollywood lately. Orlando Bloom recently split from his girl, Gwyneth and Chris are no longer together, and now Jaime and Evan Rachel Wood are done. The common thread in these relationships? They have all filed for divorce amicably and have remained committed to being co-parents with their children.

Jaime and Evan met back in 2005 on the set of a Green Day music video and they ended up married in 2012. Having known each other for such a long time, especially when they were so young and on a similar career trajectory, has been a huge part in the friendship that they shared. It’s just a shame that it had to come to an end.

Jaime will next be seen in “The Fantastic Four” while Evan is slated to appear in “10 Things I Hate About Life”.
