Gwyneth Paltrow Officially Files For Divorce

Gwyneth Paltrow officially filed for divorce from husband Chris Martin from whom she separated a year ago.

The 42-year-old actress cited irreconcilable differences while various reports claim the couple have already agreed on all the terms, including a settlement involving property and custody.

The details of the terms will remain confidential but as far as the children go, they are likely to share custody. Since their separation, Paltrow and Martin have co-parented rather successfully, even taking a family trip to Mexico over spring break despite being romantically involved with other people.

Their separation and subsequent divorce seem to be going smoothly, as Paltrow predicted in an interview with Howard Stern back in January.

“Look, we’re a family. We have kids. We’re always gonna be a family, and let’s try to find all the positives in our relationship, all the things that brought us together and the friendship.”
