Hilary Duff On Losing Her Virginity As A Teen: Who Was The Lucky Guy?

Hilary Duff has been in the spotlight for as long as we can remember, and she’s managed to maintain her “good girl” image over the years with only a few minor indiscretions.

In her latest interview for the April issue of Cosmopolitan magazine, Hilary hinted at how she lost her virginity and how she was able to keep up her good reputation but cutting some people out of her life.

Many of her fans have wanted to know for years with whom Duff lost her virginity, so the 27-year-old singer finally gave a hint: “I had a 26-year-old boyfriend,” she said of Good Charlotte rocker Joel Madden.

“So everyone can make their own assumptions about what I was doing.” Hilary was 16 when the pair started dating and 19 when they broke up in late 2006.

After Hilary and Joel broke up, Duff revealed she did a massive “friend cleanse”.“That was really hard, to sit down with people and say ‘We can’t be friends anymore.’ They were like ‘That’s f—ked up; you’re a bitch.’ But having a good reputation was important to me. That’s not to say I didn’t screw up and do little naughties here and there.”
