After ending things with Mia in 1992, Allen continued his relationship with Soon-Yi Previn, and with the startling age gap (Allen was 56 and Previn 19) and the semi-incestuous love story, this relationship faced only negative comments right from the very beginning.

Back in 1991, The New York Times sarcastically opined on Allen’s family life: “Few married couples seem more married. They are constantly in touch with each other, and not many fathers spend as much time with their children as Allen does.”
