Ian Somerhalder – More Than Ready For Kids

Ever since they tied the knot back in April, Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed have made nothing but overly-cute appearances which were more than often accompanied by PDAs.

Now that five months have passed, we’re beginning to wonder if the couple is preparing for the next step.

While talking to ET, the “Vampire Diaries” star couldn’t help but open up about potentially becoming a father in the near future.

Said Somerhalder: “Oh, hell yes! Absolutely,” the actor responded when asked about parenthood. “You know, it’s all about practice. It’s not practice makes perfect — it’s perfect practice. I’m actually pregnant right now!”

His enthusiasm seems to be at a high level, which, as he explains, comes from the harmony and love of married life: “It’s the most incredible thing to be happy and secure in something. It’s a pretty crazy time and place to bring a child into this turbulent and insane world, but I really can’t wait to do it.”

The 36-year-old actor began dating Nikki Reed somewhere in 2014. The couple got engaged in February 2015 and married two months later in Malibu, California. It seems like everything is going as it was planned, so we can only say: keep it up, guys!
