James Blunt And Sofia Wellesley To Marry This Month

It’s official, English songwriter, James Blunt will tie the knot with his fiancé Sofia Wellesley. According to insiders, it will all happen on 19 September in a small and intimate ceremony in Majorca.

A small chapel in the town of Campanet is the official venue, and this is no surprise since bride’s parents Lord John Henry Wellesley and Corinne Vaes own a house there and Campanet is where James’ future wife has spent the past summers visiting.

This also comes as no surprise since Blunt owns a beautiful beach house on the island, where he often throws lavish parties and entertains many famous friends.

The place is even unofficially known as “Blunty’s nightclub”.

Who’s coming?

It seems that Princes William and Harry have been invited to the nuptials. William’s wife, the Duchess of Cambridge, will as well be there, whereas Kate is highly unlikely to attend since the royal couple have been blessed and are expecting their second baby together.

The guest list will also include James’ good friend and fellow singer Elton John, as well as Elton’s husband David Furnish.

James proposed in December 2013 and the two lovebirds have been dating approximately for a year and a half now. We wish them a long and happy marriage.
