Jennifer Aniston On Brad Pitt Divorce – ’I Don’t Find It Painful’

Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt were Hollywood’s number one couple some ten years ago, however, their five-year marriage ended abruptly and shockingly back in 2005, leaving Jennifer on the receiving end, if there ever was one.

But now things have changed.

Media can’t let go

Jen is happily engaged and completely at peace with her split from Brad Pitt, and says that it is more of an interesting headline than anything else.

Water under the bridge, as they say, though the media somehow manage to step into this same river, and not just twice, but over and over again.

“I don’t find it painful,” said the actress when asked about the 2005 divorce.

“I think it’s a narrative that follows you because it’s an interesting headline. It’s more of a media-driven topic.”

Still on good terms

The 45-years-old actress also said that the former couple still exchange a few words and best wishes every now and then.

“We’ve exchanged good wishes and all that sort of stuff to each other. But it’s not a constant thing.”

As for Jennifer’s new fiancée, the actress has been dating Justin Theroux for the past three years and the happy couple announced their engagement back in August 2012.
