Lady Gaga Got Engaged on Valentine’s Day

Lady Gaga and beau Taylor Kinney got engaged on Valentine’s Day. The songstress shared the news via Instagram by posing a picture of her heart-shaped diamond engagement ring, captioning it, “He gave me his heart on Valentine’s Day, and I said YES!”

According to various reports, the couple celebrated their engagement at Gaga’s family’s restaurant Joanne Trattoria on Manhattan’s Upper West Side.

Although Gaga, 28, stepped out on Monday, she wasn’t quite prepared to show the ring yet, covering it with her right hand and smiling from ear to ear.

The happy couple met on the set of the songstress’s “You & I” music video back in 2011 and started dating a few months later.

Gaga and Kinney broke up in May 2012, but reconciled soon after, managing to patch things up and put their differences behind. They have been going strong ever since.

Gaga recently revealed what she thinks her wedding day will look like to Howard Stern, saying, “If I get married, I’ll be hanging out in a pickup truck at a David’s Bridal while my stylist is screaming at me.”
