Miley Cyrus Identifies As Pansexual

Miley Cyrus has been rather open about her sexuality lately, discussing her preferences in the bedroom in various interviews. She has recently identified as pansexual.

“I’m very open about it — I’m pansexual. But I’m not in a relationship. I’m 22, I’m going on dates, but I change my style every two weeks, let alone who I’m with,” the singer said in an interview for an upcoming October issue of Elle UK magazine.

Miley tried to explain she is “gender fluid” and doesn’t discriminate between genders.

“I am literally open to every single thing that is consenting and doesn’t involve an animal and everyone is of age,” she said. “Everything that’s legal, I’m down with. Yo, I’m down with any adult — anyone over the age of 18 who is down to love me. I don’t relate to being a boy or girl, and I don’t have to have my partner relate to a boy or girl.”

Pansexual, as explained by psychologists, means a person is attracted to individuals of all genders. It’s different from bisexual as bisexual implies there are only two genders. Pansexual people can be attracted to gender-queer or transgender individuals, in addition to being open to sexual encounters with those who identify as male or female.
