We’re hearing wedding bells, and they are sounding pretty soulful to us! RNB singer and a performing veteran Usher is engaged to his longtime girlfriend and business partner Grace Miguel! The news was confirmed by multiple sources.
The couple has been together since 2009, almost right after Usher’s notorious split from his ex-wife Tameka Foster.
The lovebirds looked cozy with one another at the Golden Globes Art of Elysium Heaven Gala in Los Angeles on January 10th, and people noticed that Miguel’s ring finger was noticeably bejeweled with a giant diamond ring at the event.
The thing that keeps people guessing whether it’s really an engagement ring is the size of the rock. And yes, it’s bigger than what you probably imagined just now.
The ring is so massive, media sources previously reported “you wouldn’t think it was an engagement ring because it’s so big.” You know you did something right when you left the media confused.
The 36-year-old international performer only recently started opening up about his longtime love. He spoke about her in an interview a couple of months ago, and said: “I have an incredible partner and manager. She has helped me through some of the hardest times in my life and my career. She’s someone who’s been able to support and understand all of who I am. Not just as a dancer or as a performer or as a singer, but as a humanitarian and a business man and as a person.”
Usher was previously married to Tameka Foster from 2007 to 2009. They have two sons, Naviyd Ely and Usher Raymond V.
